About

Built from lived experience and shaped with care.

Wild Enough Women began with a simple but serious truth: too many people are carrying the burden of explaining complex health experiences alone, repeatedly, and under pressure.

Katie Henderson

Katie Henderson is the founder of Wild Enough Women, created from lived experience of navigating complex health challenges and the reality of not being heard within traditional systems.

With a background in customer engagement, operations, and community-focused work, Katie has also served as a trustee with KidsBank Chester, supporting families through practical, local initiatives.

Wild Enough Women brings together that lived experience and operational clarity, building a simple, structured way for women to capture what is happening over time and communicate it more clearly in appointments.

The mission is straightforward: make it easier to be understood, without having to fight for it.

Origin story

Wild Enough Women was started in response to the emotional and practical difficulty of trying to communicate symptoms clearly over time while also navigating dismissal, uncertainty, and short appointments.

The organisation comes from lived experience rather than abstract theory. That matters because tone, trust, and boundaries are not secondary. They are part of the work itself.

This site is the beginning of a larger mission: to build tools and an organisational platform that take women’s health advocacy seriously.
